10 Week Nutrional Plan Spearheaded by Neil Barrett
The NewShape nutrition program incorporates a simple & sustainable eating & exercise plan that facilitates healthy fat loss, increases energy levels, improves self image & overall wellbeing. The program consists of a 10 week eating & exercise plan, with 3 consultations - week 1, week 5 & week 10 respectively, & ongoing correspondence support using various communication mediums.
Week 1: Initial Consultation
- Body composition analysis
(weight, height, body fat %, lean mass %, BMI, BMR)
- Diet history
- Exercise history
- Long term goal setting
Following the consultation, each individual will receive a 10 week personalized eating plan, as well as an individualized exercise plan based on age, weight, ability level & goals. In addition, each participant will also receive 5 food diaries which are to be completed throughout each day for 5 weeks.
Week 5: Mid Plan Consultation
- Body composition re-analysis (weight, body fat %, lean mass % & BMI)
- Food diary analysis
- Exercise plan analysis
The Mid Plan Consultation is the perfect time to assess how each participant is coping with the nutrition & exercise plan. Any questions are addressed & feedback is given regarding eating plan adherence. The participant is then introduced to an online method of food diary analysis that allows them to monitor their calorie intake on a daily basis, thus empowering them to make permanent healthy food choices.
Week 10: Final Consultation
- Final body composition analysis (weight, body fat %, lean mass % & BMI)
- Final Online diary analysis
- Goal setting for post plan nutrition & exercise
